Market Health Index ("MHI", "we", "our") is an independent market analysis application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

Information We Collect

MHI collects a minimal amount of anonymous technical data to understand how the application is being used. Specifically:

• Device identifier: A device-level ID (Android ID on Android, Vendor Identifier on iOS) is sent with each data request. This identifier is anonymous — it is not linked to your name, email address, or any other personal information.
• Usage events: Timestamps of when the application fetches market data are recorded anonymously.

We do not collect your name, email address, location, or any other personally identifiable information. We do not require account registration.

How We Use This Information

The anonymous device identifier and usage data are used solely for internal analytics purposes:

• To count the number of unique active devices using the application
• To understand general usage patterns and improve the application
• To monitor service reliability

This data is never used for advertising, profiling, or sold to third parties.

Data Storage

Usage data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure using Cloudflare Analytics Engine. Cloudflare is a US-based company that processes data in accordance with GDPR and other applicable privacy regulations. For more information, see Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Services

MHI retrieves market data from third-party financial data providers in order to calculate the Market Health Index. These providers are not exposed to end users and do not receive any information about you. The application uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to deliver optional push notifications. FCM is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

Push Notifications

If you enable push notifications, your device will be subscribed to a notification topic via Firebase Cloud Messaging. No personally identifiable information is associated with this subscription. You can disable push notifications at any time through your device's notification settings.

Data Retention

Anonymous usage data is retained for analytical purposes. Because the data contains no personally identifiable information, individual data points cannot be identified or deleted on request. If you wish to stop contributing usage data, you can uninstall the application.

Children's Privacy

MHI is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the application after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
